We would not return or recommend.
Positive: It was really easy and clear. The only thing we were a little unsure of was which flat out of two it was, as there are two on what could be considered the first floor, flat numbers would easily resolve this.
Negative: Really poor internet, frequently non existent. House was freezing with moisture dampness on one wall. Boiler was turned off at mains, we had to switch on. Carbon monoxide detector was not working at all, we had to alert the landlord to it when we discovered it on day 2. Main bedroom smelt of stale smoke. Only bathroom and toilet was in the main bedroom so really small and awkward for the second guest. We had to conclude our stay at the Premier Inn locally. The facilities were very basic and worn or broken,. All kitchen equipment clearly required cleaning prior to use. Advert misleading on multiple matters, no off street parking (double yellows and a small area of 20 minute limited stay), private beach area?

Comfortable, convenient, wonderful.
Positive: It was absolutely lovely, the location is close to the beachside - at maximum a 5 minute walk. It felt homely; alot of issues I find personally when staying at hotels is that general 'vibe' that the place you've come to is somewhat uncanny. This isn't that - you can tell alot of love has been put into the place to make it feel as comforting and welcoming as possible. The host is an absolute treat. They were quick to respond to any queries. I'd highly recommend the place if you're planning a visit to the Isle of Wight.

Highly recommended for solo travellers, couples or families
Positive: Great host - fantastic communication, can't thank you enough for putting us at ease and sending all the info beforehand! Excellent location, close to the beach, a handy shop literally across the road, Coop/little Sainsbury's 5min walk; really easy to reach the island landmarks by local transport.
Spacious accomodation, clean, nice & tasteful decor with IOW pictures, handy appliances.
